Mentor #1
She has in excess
of 18 years in business and finance. She has more than ten years in public school,
business and finance administration, and has spent the past eight years in
finance with a telecommunications company. She served in the United States
Marine Corps, is devoted to Bible study, loves travel and literature and has
embraced the joy that comes from sharing a home with her mother.

Many years of sales and marketing
experience to the Christian Women in the Marketplace leadership. Her
entrepreneurial spirit first led her to open a specialty boutique of ladies
fashions in the late 1970’s. By utilizing the sales
techniques and networking abilities she acquired in owning her own business, she
transferred that knowledge into helping customers attain home ownership through
residential mortgage lending for almost 15 years. Even though she has
succeeded in the business realm, she notes that her greatest accomplishment is
raising a happy, healthy daughter as a single mom and gives all the credit to
God for sustaining her through the years.

years experience in the legal field as a paralegal. She has expertise in EEO,
discrimination, military employment issues, harassment and a variety of other
employment issues. She is currently specializing labor and employment.

Extensive
expertise in the area of career development and advancement. She has worked with
a wide range of companies and professionals during her 16 years as a recruiter.
She became the youngest female franchise owner among 1,100 Management Recruiters
International franchises in 2003. Today, her franchise is ranked in the top 5 local market offices
and is ranked number 41 in the world. She volunteers her time at Southern Methodist University in assisting
future leaders with resume and career advise.

A publisher of commercial real estate
information with 20 years experience in sales, marketing, advertising and
commercial real estate. She has mentored younger women who have been employees,
and who have been single mothers. She raised her daughter alone, after losing
her husband when her daughter was 4 months old. She has experienced the teenage
years after remarriage when her daughter was 15 years old, through prayer and
Bible study, and now to a wonderful relationship of Mom-daughter best friends.
She stands on God's promise of faith, sharing her faith whenever possible, and
trusting the Lord.

consultant who specializes in values-based leadership and professional
development. She is skilled at discovering and negotiating
effective win-win solutions to complicated and potentially adversarial
situations. She has held senior executive positions with national and
multi-national corporations in the television industry and has helped pioneer
new technologies for the video and television markets.

Over 20 years of management, technical and
consulting experience in information technologies. she has served in both
technical and management positions, and now owns and operates software product development and
consulting services. She has spent many years “on the road” and has a first
hand knowledge of the issues women business travelers face as well as many of
the issues around “getting ahead” in the workplace as a women, especially in
male-dominated arenas.
